Meet Alysha, Senior Stylist
My Motivation and Inspiration:
My greatest motivation comes from bringing happiness and confidence to others. Hairdressing is more than just creating a beautiful look—it’s about empowering people to feel their best. The ability to enhance someone's self-assurance and comfort within themselves drives me to perfect my craft, stay ahead of trends, and continuously elevate my skills.
Strengths:
I believe my strengths can also be my weaknesses. I’m deeply empathetic and highly compassionate—I can’t scroll through TikTok or Instagram without getting emotional over a heartfelt video. One of my greatest strengths is my strong sense of self. I’m deeply in tune with who I am, which gives me confidence and resilience, but it also means I can be strong-willed in certain situations.
Professional Background:
I’ve been in the hair industry for six years now. After finishing school, I initially went to university to study accounting, but I quickly realized—within just four weeks—that it wasn’t the right path for me. Hairdressing, on the other hand, felt natural and aligned perfectly with my personality, creativity, and passion for making people feel their best.
Hobbies/Interests:
One of my creative outlets is making press-on nails at home. I also love anything crafty—even something as simple as a paint-by-numbers set from Kmart is the perfect way to unwind. My biggest hobby, however, is reading. When I’m fully immersed, I can get through almost a book a week. There’s something magical about getting lost in someone else’s world that I absolutely love.
Influences:
My parents have had the most significant influence on my life. From a young age, they taught me the importance of hard work and perseverance, a lesson that has driven me to challenge myself and always strive for the best. I aspire to have a relationship as strong and joyful as theirs, and to be as happy as they are, even 40 years later. I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have grown up in a home filled with love and happiness.
Defining Success:
I define success by happiness. True success for me is being content and at peace with who I am and the life I’ve built. I value wealth in love far more than material possessions or money. The richest form of success is the joy and fulfillment that comes from meaningful connections and inner peace.
