Meet Kiki, Senior Stylist
What motivates or inspires you?
My greatest motivation in life is my son Levi. Raising a child as a single mother comes with challenges, but it also gives me purpose. It pushes me to be disciplined, adaptable, and constantly improving. Whether it's maintaining a strong work ethic, prioritising self-care, or simply being present , Levi inspires me every day to be the best version of myself.
What are your strengths or unique qualities?
Having worked in various countries as a hairstylist, I have gained extensive experience with Beyond technical expertise, I also value cultural understanding. I believe that every woman, regardless of her background, should feel welcomed, understood, and celebrated in the salon. Creating an inclusive space where all clients feel comfortable and confident is something I take great pride in.
What is your professional background or experience?
I completed my apprenticeship in 2003, over 20 years ago. I have a wealth of knowledge but still don’t know it all. Hairdressing is constant evolving and I learn something new all the time. I have an international background and developed skills specialising in long hair colouring and cutting.
What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work?
Outside of the salon, I love to paint and create art, as well as spend time gardening. There is something so satisfying about bringing ideas to life— whether it's on a canvas or in the garden. A bit like with hair, I enjoy the process of starting from nothing and transforming it into something beautiful, whether it's a painting, a styled space, or a garden.
What’s a fun or quirky fact about you?
I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aides.
How do you define success?
For me, success is about creating a life that aligns with my values- providing a stable and loving environment for my son, running a thriving business that reflects my passion, and maintaining personal well-being.
